Hog River Brewery

Here is a picture of the steam boiler we installed at the brewery. This boiler produces the steam that heats the mash tun/lauter tun, Kettle/whirlpool, and the hot liquor tank.

Here is a photo of the brew house and hot liquor tank. You can see the piping we installed to the hot liquor tank and some of the steam piping in the back.

Here is a picture of the steam pipe which feeds the mash tun/lauter tun and the kettle/whirlpool. The valves are there to open and close as the brewing process needs more or less heat.

Here are some photos of our install over at Hog River Brewery. This project took place summer of 2016. On this project we installed the boiler and steam piping which fed the brewery equipment. We also installed all of the chilled water piping feeding the cooler and fermentation tanks. We also installed the new waste and water throughout the brewery.
We installed the trench drains throughout the original brew area and first expansion into the back. We had to bring in the machinery to help us cut the concrete floor and dig down to the existing waste main. We set the new trench drains in these photos, which are still in use today even after a couple expansions.

Here is a picture of the road saw and mini excavator we used to install the floor drains in the existing brewery. The floor was so thick, a standard demo saw wouldnt touch the concrete. We had to bring in a saw with a 30" blade, so we could cut the floor which was over 11" thick!

Here is the trench that we dug and set new trench drain in. We had to install these drains in, with the existing brewhouse and fermentation tanks in place. We set 2 drains in this area to pick up both sides of the trench.

This was the new area where they were planning on setting new fermentation tanks. The trench drains were positioned so they could put several tanks up on both sides. You can see the old firefly mural in the back, which has since been taking down due another expansion.

Hooker Brewery

The new Aldrich steam boiler we installed for hookers new brewing system. Today when you visit, the boiler has a room built around it to hide it from site.

In the new building hooker took over a couple years ago, they needed new hot water heaters to keep up with their demand. Unfortunately, one tankless water heater was not enough. We installed these two Navien tankless hot water heaters to feed the water throughout the canning area.

This is a photo of the new finished tap room, where you can see the brew system in the background to the left.

Of all the brewery projects we have been involved in, Hooker keeps us the busiest. We have Installed HVAC in the taproom, replaced the existing boiler installing all the new process steam piping to the new brewing system, replaced water heaters in new canning building, helped get the new kitchen up and going, and many more.
